Called "the standout at New York's cabaret convention," by Town & Country magazine, Maye Cavallaro is known for her warm and charismatic stage performances. A true class act, Maye effortlessly moves from jazz standards to popular music, from cabaret to dance music.

Maye has led her own quintet for the past two decades, performing regularly at many of the best venues of the Bay Area, including Yoshi’s, The Plush Room, The Ritz-Carlton and the "Top of the Mark" in the Mark Hopkins hotel. For five years Maye appeared weekly at one of the great all time rooms of the Bay Area, the Compass Rose in the St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco. She has performed in New York City, and has been a favorite choice for top commercial clients, including Bank of America, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Mill Valley Film Festival, the Microsoft Leadership Conference, Merrill Lynch, Mondavi Winery, San Jose Museum of Art and others.

Maye has released three CD’s, and the San Francisco Chronicle chose her "In the Middle of a Kiss" as one of the top ten jazz albums of the year. A well-known vocal coach, Maye has been teaching for many years, and is on the faculty of the innovative Jazzschool in Berkeley. Her newest recording "Hearts" features critical favorite Mimi Fox on guitars, jazz legend Paul McCandless on reeds, and Ian Dogole on percussion.
